What We Fabricate
Structural Steelwork
We fabricate the full range of structural steel sections: universal beams and columns, portal frames, purlins, rafters, bracing and base plates. Each member is cut, drilled and welded to your engineer's specification. From a single-span portal frame to a multi-bay industrial frame, we build steel that carries the loads your building needs. These frames become the backbone of our steel-framed buildings.
In-House Fabrication Process
All fabrication happens at our Gloucestershire workshop. Steel arrives as raw sections, then moves through cutting, drilling, welding, fitting and surface treatment on one site. Keeping the whole process under our own roof means we control quality at every step — and never wait on a third-party fabricator. It's how we hold a steady programme and a consistent finish across every job.
Design-to-Fabrication Workflow
Fabrication starts with the drawings. Our team takes the structural calculations and CAD models, produces detailed fabrication drawings, and turns them into cut lists and welding instructions for the shop floor. This direct CAD-to-fabrication link means the steel we make matches the design exactly — first time. It's the same in-house discipline behind our full design and build service.
Quality Control & Testing
Every fabricated element is checked before it leaves the workshop. We inspect welds, verify dimensions against the drawings, and confirm the surface treatment. Steel is fabricated to the recognised UK standard BS EN 1090, so your structure meets building control and CE / UKCA requirements. Nothing ships until it's right.
